How TestedAR Benchmarks Apps

Our empirical testing uses high-precision laser distance meters and physical tape measures as baseline ground truths. Each virtual measurement tool undergoes standardized evaluation under variable indoor and outdoor environments.

01

Optics & Lux Variance

Evaluated under 50 lux (low room light), 500 lux (office ambient), and 10,000+ lux (direct outdoor sunlight).

02

Distance Matrix

Tested across ranges from 10 cm micro-measurements to 10-meter room spans to calculate non-linear drift.

03

LiDAR vs Optical

Isolating time-of-flight hardware depth sensor advantages against purely monocular camera feature point estimation.
